Freemarket Adds Annie Osborne as Business Development Director

6th July 2023, London, UK.

Freemarket, an industry-leading platform for financial technology that provides regulated B2B cross-border payments and currency exchange for small to medium-sized businesses, has announced a new appointment. The company has strengthened its management team with the appointment of the experienced Annie Osborne as business development director.

According to the announcement, Osborne is an industry veteran who boasts years of experience in payments. Before joining Freemarket’s team, she used to work as CITCON’s sales director for Europe. Prior to that, she held a variety of senior positions at companies such as Xace, ACI, Trust Payments and American Express.

In her new role, Osborne will be responsible for scaling Freemarket’s presence in the global gambling and iGaming sectors. Freemarket’s ambition is to supply innovative and reliable cross-border payments and currency exchange solutions to gambling companies, responding to the high demand for such technology.

Freemarket offers a one-stop platform for cross-border payments and currency exchange that provides customers with access to a global bank and NBFI network. In addition, the platform features a variety of proprietary tech solutions, allowing clients to streamline payments and remove complexity.

Customers can access the Freemarket platform either through API or via a reliable and secure web portal.

Annie Osborne commented on her new appointment, praising Freemarket’s platform and services for their efficiency and reliability. She noted that the company offers exactly the cross-border payments and currency exchange businesses need.

That they [clients] can get this from one place, and gain access to a global bank network, makes Freemarket the stand-out solution for organizations across a wide range of sectors. I’m joining the business at an incredibly exciting time and feel privileged to be a part of its continued success.

Meanwhile, Richard Harrison, Freemarket’s vice president of sales, welcomed Osborne to the Freemarket family. He said that the new appointee’s job will be to further improve Freemarket’s strong market presence in gaming. Harrison noted that he is very excited to welcome her on board and is certain that she will have a noticeable impact on the company.

The VP of sales noted that thanks to its easy-to-use platform, Freemarket is poised for growth. The platform, he added, has built-in compliance controls and monitoring solutions that make businesses more efficient when it comes to cross-border payments and currency exchange.

Harrison concluded: “With Annie’s help, we will be able to make more organizations aware of Freemarket than ever before.”
